Take the COASTER to shamROCK in the Gaslamp!

Over 20,000 Irish revelers will hit the streets of the Gaslamp, St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17th from 2 p.m. until midnight. Organizers are re-creating a 150-foot Irish Pub on the streets of the Gaslamp; turning the streets green with over 80,000 square feet of green Astroturf; and with a lighting extravaganza, transforming the Gaslamp Quarter into an urban, super-chic version of the rolling hills of Ireland!

Take the special St. Patrick's Day COASTER trains, with two-for-one fares after 2 p.m.!

How to get there on the COASTER:

• FREE parking is available at all COASTER stations (except Santa Fe Depot).
• Buy a RegionPlus Day Pass for $12, which includes a Trolley transfer. (Remember, only purchase one ticket for two people.)
• Board one of our special shamROCK trains (see special schedule below).
• Get off the COASTER at Santa Fe Depot.
• If you wish to take a Trolley connection, one of you must purchase a Trolley ticket so you both have one.
• To reach shamROCK main gate (5th and Broadway): Take the Blue Trolley line from Santa Fe Depot (heading toward San Ysidro) Get off at the 5th Avenue stop. 

RETURNING to Santa Fe Depot AFTER the event to catch the 12:45 p.m. COASTER:

Return to the Trolley’s 5th Avenue Stop. (Arrive by midnight). Board the next west-bound Orange Line or Blue Line trolley. If you board an Orange Line get off at the America Plaza Station and walk across the street to the Santa Fe Depot. If you board a Blue Line get off at the Santa Fe Depot Station.
