Take the COASTER to Mardi Gras in the Gaslamp

Mardi Gras in the Gaslamp is proud to feature world-renowned headlining DJs performing non-stop from 6 p.m. to midnight as well as dancers, street performers and, of course, the Incredible Masquerade Parade at 9 p.m.! Many of the bars and restaurants will feature their own live entertainment as well.

Take the special Fat Tuesday COASTER trains, with two-for-one fares!

How to get there:

• FREE parking is available at all COASTER stations (except Santa Fe Depot).
• Buy a RegionPlus Day Pass for $12, which includes a Trolley transfer. (Remember, only purchase one ticket for two people on the Trolley and special COASTER trains.)
• Board one of our special Fat Tuesday trains (see special schedule below).
• Get off the COASTER at Santa Fe Depot.
• To reach Mardi Gras main gate (5th and Broadway): Take the Blue Trolley line from Santa Fe Depot (heading toward San Ysidro) Get off at the 5th Avenue stop. Walk south accross Broadway.
• To reach Mardi Gras south gate (6th and K): From Santa Fe Depot, walk directly across Ketner Street to America Plaza Trolley Station. Take the Orange Trolley (heading twoard Convention Center). Get off at the Gaslamp Station. Walk north to K Street. and east to 6th Avenue.

RETURNING to Santa Fe Depot AFTER the event to catch the 12:45 p.m. COASTER:

Exit through the Main Gate at Broadway and go to the Trolley’s 5th Avenue Stop (Arrive by midnight). Board the next west-bound Orange Line or Blue Line trolley. If you board an Orange Line get off at the America Plaza Station and walk across the street to the Santa Fe Depot. If you board a Blue Line get off at the Santa Fe Depot Station.
