  Senate Bill 802

1975 - Adopted by the California State Legislature to create the North San Diego Transit Development Board.


    Senate Bill 1703

 2002 - Adopted by the California State Legislature to create a consolidated transportation agency in San Diego from specified existing agencies, including SANDAG, MTDB and NCTD. It authorizes SANDAG to assume certain responsibilities and functions previously held by the transit development boards, including planning, programming, project development and construction.


Agency Consolidation Transition Plans

2003 - These plans remain today to serve as guidelines by which business and processes are transferred, modified and refined within these three entities: San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), the Metropolitan Transit Development Board (MTDB), and the North County Transit Development Board (NCTD).
