Project Opportunities - Contracts and Procurement
Non-construction contracting opportunities greater than $100K in value and construction contracting opportunities greater than $10K in value utilize the RFP or IFB process, are advertised in the San Diego Daily Transcript and are listed here. Other contracting opportunities $100K and below in value and utilizing the RFQ process are not listed here. NCTD does not maintain an approved bidders list. Contact the Manager of Contracts and Procurement Larry Frum to inquire about other contracting opportunities.

The following links open the IFB, RFP notice for the respective projects. To obtain documents, specifications, drawings, addenda, etc. and obtain status as a planholder, the contractor must contact the Contract Administrator listed in the Notice and be added to the planholder list. In order to maintain the integrity of the Plan Holders List and insure that Addendums are sent to all prospective bidders, NCTD does not send a complete bid package to any Plan Room.

Permits, Leases & Licenses
NCTD property is used as an active rail corridor. Outside parties may use or cross the corridor, provided that use does not interfere with current or future rail and maintenance operations.
Leases
Subject to NCTD’s adopted Comprehensive Real Estate Management Plan, NCTD property may be leased for parking, storage, landscaping or other uses compatible with railroad operations. Rates vary with location and minimum charges apply.
Licenses
Public and private utility and road crossings are reviewed, approved and constructed pursuant to issuance of NCTD’s standard license agreement. License fees vary with the proposed use and location.
