Welcome Aboard the BREEZE!
Times change. It's now cool to ride the bus. In fact, the bus isn't
called the bus any longer. From now on, you can breeze around North
County on... the BREEZE. With convenient routes and helpful drivers, the
BREEZE is more than a creative name for the bus. The BREEZE actually
describes how easy it now is to get around in North County. The
BREEZE...Catch It!
The BREEZE can take you places... from Del Mar to San Clemente, Ramona
to Escondido and from Vista to Oceanside. Special BREEZE shuttle buses
can take you to all of the home Chargers games and the Del Mar Fair
(seasonal). And you can make connections to the COASTER, Metrolink,
Amtrak, San Diego Transit and Trolley, the County Transit System and
OCTA in San Clemente.

Service
NCTD BREEZE buses carry passengers in the north San Diego County region
from Oceanside to Del Mar, northeast to Escondido, east to Ramona; north
to Fallbrook and to San Clemente in Orange County - including service
for Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base. The region is more than 1,020
square miles in area and has a population of more than 800,000 people.

Equipment
NCTD has 160 vehicles in our bus fleet. We take pride in the quality of
our vehicles, and proudly have one of the lowest break-down records in the
industry. Nearly half the fleet is comprised of New Flyer 40-foot
kneeling buses powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). In the last ten years, all
of the BREEZE bus fleet has been replaced.

Attractions
NCTD's BREEZE buses stop at or near major regional attractions,
including the San Diego Wild Animal Park near Escondido (Route 386) and
Legoland in Carlsbad (Route 344. Catch the 344 from the COASTER station
at Carlsbad Village). Various coastal routes (especially Route 101) have
stops at many of North County's beaches.
