This year's theme, "The History of Black Economic Empowerment," recognizes Jacob Lawrence, Annie Malone and civil rights organization the National Urban League for their work and success during economically challenging times.

On Sunday, January 24 the new service schedules began for BREEZE bus routes. A convenient, new BREEZE route 331 now operates between the Buena Creek SPRINTER station and Kaplan College on University Dr., serving the Target and Sam's Club shopping centers along University Dr. This route partially replaces routes 302 and 305 on Robelini Dr. and is timed to connect with the SPRINTER every 30 minutes.
